• Antimicrobial agents for multidrug-resistant bacteria, skin and soft tissue infections, and urinary tract infections

Target disease 2. Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)

Research interests:

• Suppression of increased vascular permeability
• Enhancement of alveolar fluid clearance

Untargeted research:

• Simple anti-inflammatory and anti-innate immune system drugs (e.g., neutrophils)
